A stoic German Shepherd
surveys its land,
unaware that its ancestors
once had actual sheep
to lead around.

It has an unquenchable
need for organization,
which it unleashes
on the people in its life
as often as possible

(especially the little ones
who would rather
run around aimlessly,
completely devoid of guidance).

Wharved.com I am a poet. I write poems. Titles and subjects and subsequent readership are all part of one fragmented figment of our universe, and it's nice that we take it so seriously. Hopefully the craft remains and grows stronger for our children.
